Strippers, anyone watching?

Not the scantly clad ladies , new show on Discovery Channel, basically two groups go head to head purchasing a car each to strip down and sell for parts, team with the most profit made wins. Decent enough show, a tad bit of over acting and showmanship by them but good all the same.

One purchased a Jaguar XJ (think it was) for £1050 and the other purchased an Audi A8 for £850. With the interior seat they priced the new Audi replacement at £4500 from a main dealer so there was interest in the parts when they sold them. I could see plenty of markets for luxo barges stripped down in this country, they go for pocket change and the majority of parts could be sold worldwide.

Subaru impreza and Evo 4 in this weeks show. Mad you can buy a complete car for x amount and sell the engine alone from it for x+(insert figure here)

Format of the show sounded good in principle but its very hit and miss.

Watched it for the first time the other night, and it was the above episode. It was good, but nothing special. Will probably watch it again though!

I think its a funny show it seems as if its very much light entertainment as the lads featured on it seem a tad bit stupid, the fat baldy guy likes to thinks he is an east end gangster which is funny sometimes and then the black guy couldnt negotiate a deal to save his life....i watch it coz the baldy guy is funny as hell whilst looking like a twat.:)

Thats Bernie Feinman of Bernie & Leepu fame I think. Annoying twat. Classic Car Rescue is the latest thing he's in and he's still as loud, obnoxious and annoying as ever.
