This is the earliest i ever remember seeing..

The tune of "Hear those sleigh bells ringing a ling ding a ding a ling etc.."

I was obviously wrong, but i thought Christmas ads weren't allowed until after Hallowe'en..

    You are partly right,

Big business is after the hearts and minds of our children. While parents are now bracing themselves for an avalanche of Christmas-themed TV advertising aimed at their children (the BAI code permits it only from November 1st), commandeering the Santa lists is only one target of marketers., source irishtimes.com

It's only Christmas Ads that are aimed at Children are banned until November 1st. DFS does not apply! ;)

I'll be sick of Christmas before December.. :(

Used to love it (Like everyone else), It just seems like overkill with all the ads. Gone are the days when late November, you could start to smell Christmas.. Now it's sprayed in every store from October.
