    Hi all,

This could be a cheap way of turning your heating on/off at the mains.

Belkin Wemo switch - $50 in the States, due to launch a 3 pin uk/ireland version this month.

It's a controllable socket, you can control it from anywhere.
I have an electrical mains switch but surely this could be wired into this somehow?

How would you overcome the permanent power supply that the boiler needs?

The only thing i can see this being good for is phone sex after that who cares about turning on a lamp / hair dryer or even a boiler if you could.

Heating can already be controled by means of GSM dialler and enabled controller.
