    Hi all

Friends of mine have started a world tour and want to head to China on it.
They didnt get their visa before they left.
Is there any way they can get it while they are abroad? They dont really want to be posting their passports either if they can avoid it as they will need them most of the time when going from place to place.

    Cheers

Thats why there are embassies. They need to go to the Chinese embassy in whatever country they are now in.

I've got a Chinese visa in Hong Kong and in Bangkok in the past. In each case I used a local agent and the visa was processed in a few days. Far less paperwork than applying in Ireland too.
