Recently, I was refused a job on the basis of my age. The subject was raised at interview whereby the interviewer ( twice my age) informed me I was too old to start in the job in question. Should I consult my solicitor or would I be better advised to take this organisation to an equality tribunal? Has anyone else experienced or come across anything of this nature?

Ask the question here by all means. No more detail than what's above please.
