    Hi lads,

I've recently moved from Munster to South Dublin Mon-Fri in search of employment. I've got a fairly decent Weihrauch springer and a couple of free evenings during the week if anyone knows of any farmers/land owners with vermin problems. Obviously, the airgun comes into its own with pigeons in sheds, magpies, crows, rats .....

South Dublin & parts of Wicklow would be ideal but I'm getting some work all over the place so I wouldn't rule anything out completely.:)

Not that keen - I have hundreds of acres to shoot at home and a number of neighbours (farmers) who are delighted to have me around. It's just a way of doing a bit during the week. Also - I saw a thread last year looking for someone with an air rifle to clear out pigeons from a shed. I'm pretty sure it was in the East Wicklow area.

No prob pheasantstalker - thanks for the advice - there's obviously a lot more competition/less space to shoot in and around Dublin. I think the post was a mistake.

I have removed any posts that didn't give any advice to the OP.

I will give this thread another chance. The OP is looking for advice about any areas he might get permission or where somebody might want a shooting partner.

Put an add up in the local supermarkets / co-op shops, you see them for general handyman / childminders etc with your detachable mobile number on the bottom (most farmers wont have a pencil / biro on them) make sure you put "used to working around animals" and "references available" and "Insurance" on the ad and if you expect payment or not, works for other people!
