What's the deal with transfers?

Does anyone know when you find out whether your request was successful or not? I know the deadline was on the 14th October, and I sent in a request in the middle of September.

I'm in the same boat: I sent in my transfer application last wednesday and admissions said they'll be sending out letters to people midweek this week as to whether they're successful or not.
However based on threads dating back a few years in this forum with regards to this forum, it seems like we may not know until as late as the 20th or 21st of October. I'll post once I get a letter anyways
What are you transferring to/from?
