    A Fúcking Clio

When police in Pretoria, South Africa followed a tip from a concerned citizen, they found a pre-school teacher bringing 19 kids back to school after a fun outing. No big deal, right?

No big deal, except that all 19 kids were in her hatchback…

She fit 6 kids in the trunk, 3 in the front seat, and 10 in the back. After being fined 1,500 rand (about $170), she says she won’t be taking the kids out again.

I suppose this was quite interesing schooltrip then for those kids. I'm sure they were having fun.

I remember when I was 17, we managed to get 12 people into the clio (and they were not kids, but all 17 year olds).

8 people in fiat 126 was also interesing thing.

That's impressive to get so many in. I was in our primary schools football team, and we'd all be squeezed into either the caretakers mark 1 clio or the teachers polo to get to a match. Would never be allowed to be repeated nowadays! Fun memories:D

She would have got them all in the boot.

I've been one of twelve (late teenagers, mostly blokes) in a Renault 11 hatchback and one of about eight in a Pug 205 XRAD about 22-23 years ago. We were so squished in we couldn't move around. "Arragh shure we'll be grand, guard!". Good times :)

while its a terrible idea for anyone to do this let alone a teacher, it was a great experience for the kids lol, im glad she didnt get years in prison for this. as we have seen happen for countless other stupid offences

When we were young, our football coach used to bring the whole team to matches in the back of one of these -

She told police she had already transported a first group of 12 children in her car
So when she brought the first 12, the other 19 were left in the mall? Lucky no-one else took them... :pac:

im assuming there was someone with them, i mean otherwise she would have had to have been fired/locked up

I remember one night there were seven of us late teenagers in a Mini, my first car. We were going to the Guards barracks!
By Mini I mean a 1961 Mini not the current big car that is called a Mini.

In those days numbers in the teens were pretty common in things like A60s coming home from dances.

...so now we have a good link to use for the next 'I'm having a baby and need to sell the 5-series and buy an Amazon to carry the buggy etc ' thread...

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

If she was a teacher from Ireland ther'd be no way she would let them in her brand new brown corolla.
