Cant find my Parrot ck3100 unit

So I just got a new car, which has a Parrot CK3100 device installed. I can find it with my phone, but ive no idea where the actual unit is. This would all be grand, but for the fact I cant seem to find nor use the microphone. If I make/receive a call the audio is pumped through the car speakers, but the person on the other end cant hear a word im saying.

Ive tried looking around the cabin for a discreet place it could be, but its certainly not in eyeshot. Nor is it in/behind the glovebox or the fuse box. Ive never had a parrot device so ive no idea what way they're setup, so hoping someone might have an idea whats going on.

I assume the device has been installed behind some panel somewhere, but since ive never used parrot devices, im not sure where I might even begin to look.

Also, when I start up the car I get a nice loud 3-4 bleeps. Guy I bought it off said it was the bluetooth trying to connect to something, but I think its the bluetooth parrot warning me that it doesnt have a microphone. Only guessing.

Ill be in Galway this weekend. Ive furthered my theory. I think whoever had the car before wanted to remove their parrot device, but didnt remove the bluebox. Googling around seems to say the bleeps relate to bad (Or I guess in my case missing) connections.

I might have to go sourcing an LCD and Microphone if I already have the bluebox. I might take you up on your offer though.
