Growing Rhubarb

    It's almost time to plant rhubarb. It’s much easier to plant part of a divided rhubarb plant which are known as rhubarb crowns. The best time to put in Rhubarb crowns is late Autumn – early Winter. November and December are perfect for starting off your new plants.

    Nice article, and rhubarb is so easy to grow. Best variety I have in the garden are three crowns. No idea of what type they are, but the originals came down to Connemara from Meath in the 30's

    got a lovely sweet one from a lady in oranmore. It statred off a bit stringy this year but got better later on.
