    Hello,

I have a job interview today with this company

    http://simplesalesandmarketing.ie/

I was wondering if this company is good to work with, as I have heard a lot about other similar sales and marketing pyramid companies.

    Thanks

    Merlie :)

If I give you any advice that is 'BE CAREFUL'.

This company was only set up July/August 2011 and the director also set up two other companys on the same date. ODD.

Go for the interview if you want but if they start asking for bank details, want to take photocopies of passports, ids, proof of address etc, get out of there.

Anything with the word 'pyramid' should make you want to run a mile in the opposite direction.

Go to the about part of the web page. The formatting is all over the place. not very professional.

Thanks for your replies. I am still considering going but waiting to hear back from other job applications I made to other companies. So don't know if I should wait to hear or just go for this interview.

    Thanks again.

Don't go with these unless you really wajt to! I worked with them in the summer. They made me come in and wouldn't tell me what the job is about until we were actually doing it. You are selling for companies like utv doing door to door. The hours are from 11am -9pm monday to friday. There is no fixed wage its commission based
Its good for some people but most including mysepf find it to be a waste of time

Don't bother with these sh*tebags at all OP.

Those "marketing companies" are just commission based wastes of time, who couldn't give a toss about you. Went for an interview early this year, and the place reminded me of San Francisco in that South Park episode about being smug. The office, the people, just .... *cringe*.

Unless your a complete charmer, who oozes confidence, don't waste your time.
They love the uneducated and desperate job seekers on the dole. Leeches.

Thank you for all of your replies.

I decided not to go to the interview after giving it much thought and consideration. I do know there are good sound marketing jobs out there but it is where to find them.

I have applied for other jobs so hope to hear back from them soon.

    Thanks again,

    Merlie :)
