I was wondering if anyone knows any companies around Galway that are in the Software Engineering or Electronic/Computer Engineering sector?

So far I am aware of Cisco, Valeo, SAP.

Are there any others I should be aware of?

I'm currently looking for an internship in a company, and places are limited, so the more I am aware of the better chance of getting a place

    Thanks

There are lots, big ones that you missed include HP and APC, but there are many others too.

Here's a map of the industrial estates in Galway. It has links to layout maps of many individual estates, which include lists of the main companies there.

Important estates to look at are
    Parkmore (both),
    Galway Technology Park,
    Galway Busineess Park,
    Mervue
    Oranmore

Disclaimer: yes, I drew the maps.

    Happy hunting.
