has anyone else got this? I don't know how I got it but I can't get rid of it. Please help me get mozilla / google back as my home=page/ auto search engine, And if anyone can throw a light on where this came from, better still!

    Thanks.

You probably installed some program that bundled in babylon without telling you.

It's adware, you installed something and you unknowingly let it install some useless ****e with it. When you install some free software(emoticons are the common one), they have little boxes at the bottom or something that says "Yes, I want to install x and y, I'm also interested in z" blah blah blah. And it's always checked by default so be aware of that and just uncheck it next time

They're common enough, actually now that you mention it I think my brother's search is still defaulted to "Babylon" it's been years

Just reset Firefox to Defaults. - LINK (Or just copy the Pictures below)
And run a scan to get rid of it. Download MALWAREBYTES and Update it, the run quick scan.

See if you can follow this post. Seems like Babylon has a service that keeps re-applying the customizations regardless of a reset

Nasty little fecker. The Malwarebytes scan usually gets rid of it completely.
They must have updated it, so Malwarebytes will have to update their scanner definitions.

The post linked must be the best way for now.

    Hmmm good question

My post quoting it also disappeared
Nick, if that user deleted the original post, would my post disappear too? Or closed their account even
    Was it a mod?

It was an admin decision. You can follow the uninstall link on babylon.com here that was posted
