    Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has ever bought jewellery from Johnston Court antiques. It's the place on clarendon street on the corner up from Applebys. I was in there at the weekend looking at engagement rings. I saw one that i loved and the man working there gave me a spiel about how good a deal it was etc. etc. Now i know nothing about diamonds carats etc so i'd be buying the ring based on what he says. Has anyone ever bought anything from here and if so, any advice? many thanks, Roisin

Sorry only seeing your query now, did you buy the ring from Johnston Court Antiques in the end?
I got my engagement ring from them and am 100% delighted with it. I thought the guy who owns the place could not have been nicer, he explained everything about diamonds, and did not pressure us to buy. It was a much nicer experience than in other jewellers around Grafton Street area, so much so that we will go back to Johnston Court Antiques to check out wedding rings too.
