    Hi,
I recently sat an aptitude test for a job at Pacificare in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
Waiting for an interview date at the minute but i was just wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about working for Pacificare - hours of work, wages etc? The position is Medical Claims Associate.. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,
I will be doing the test shortly, could you please give some idea of what the
test involves. And is it difficult? As far as I know the salary is €17,500 a year.
    And that's gross.

    Hi,
The test is easy enough its nothing to panick about. Its basically common sense.. Example - if John had 100 euro and this was two thirds of Amys money, how much money does Amy have? You can use a calculator (bring one with you)... Also there are a lot of count the boxes questions... They'll show you an image of a shape, say a pyramid, and you have a to count how many boxes are inside this pyramid. It is all multiple choice and you have plenty of time to complete the questions. The second section is kind of tricky, it's a test on how you use their computer claims system, it's okay if you're really careful but i would advise you to read the instructions thoroughly before starting and take your time with every part because if you hit the wrong button or minimize/maximize the wrong windows it automatically skips to the next question. I honestly thought I done terrible in this part but i passed the test anyway. Best of luck with your test

    Hi,
Thanks for the in information, did they use any of that critical path stuff?
I don't know anyone who works for this company so its hard to know what they are like as employers.
The basic pay is not very much what do you think?

No not in the aptitude test anyway. I don't know anyone working there either so I have no idea what it's like. I heard before that they work irregular hours as they're an American company but I spoke to a woman in Advanced Recruitment in Letterkenny and she said its a good company to work for and there's plenty of opportunities to progress and what not so i suppose we'll just have to wait and see. I have an interview in the next two weeks hopefully I'll find out more then. The basic pay is a bit off putting but i cant afford to be picky at the minute its hard enough to get an interview nowadays never mind actual work.

    Hiya,
How did you apply for the job? They don't seem to have a website. Are they still running?
