I was wondering if it may be too much of a stretch to find companies that are looking for people to work from home on part time hours? I am a Software Engineer and I'm looking for a little extra work.

I can meet my bills comfortably at the moment, but the extra income would be of benefit as my financee and I want to save for a deposit for our own home.

With your skills, try picking up some jobs on the freelancing sites.

As in real life, uou will be competing with people from lower-cost-geographies. But your first-language is an advantage, as is your time zone for certain jobs.

Thanks for the reply. I was even thinking of starting a few of my own projects to get the ball rolling.
