Converting 7 Seater To 5 Seater Commercial

Hey guys, Have a 06 Kia Sedona 2.9 CRDi and want to know everything I need to do to convert it to commercial.

I know I need to weld up where the seats were / seat belts.

    Tint the rear windows?

Do I need to put a petition between the rear and the seats? Also does there need to be a window in this?

Next problem is that the seats in the middle row now are 2 singles where as the very back ones is 3 together. I want to make the 3 seats fit in the middle as the back seats but they don't fit in the same as the other ones. Any help on this?

    Thanks in advance

Faas I know, the laws on crewcabs changed twice since the Sedona came out. It was possible to do a Sedona crewcab, then it wasn't, then last year they changed it again, and machines like the Discovery4 can be crewcabs.

Worth bearing in mind that you can pick up Sedona crewcabs for under 2 grand these days.

First port of call needs to be Revenue to see if it's even possible anymore.

As for the seats, I get the feeling the middle row needs to come forward a bit, They always struck me as being tiny in the back seats.

No longer possible im afraid , same story with the amazons converted under the same loophole , youll have to find one that was already done, or pay the full tax

There was a serious amount of work required back then to make the amazon eligible. New lowered boot floor, rerouted exhaust etc.

I remember seeing one with a box welded in under the boot floor, basically?

OP what ever about converting it, as far as I remember it's gone very hard to tax a crewcab!

July 2003 was the close off on it , also the mod makes the departure angle on the amazon terribly low
