Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blu ray random cut out problem

I have an LG BP120 Blu Ray which i purchased recently and I notice that very occasionally the picture will go blank (black) for a split second. It happens at unexpected times every so often. I have noticed it on every Blu Ray and DVD I've played on the machine since I bought it. It usually only happens once or twice during playback of a disc. It's just a little annoying and I was wondering if anybody can help me figure out what the problem is. I was told that this player is this years model so I assume the software is up-to-date.

    sometimes it's the HDMI cable

I agree with the above poster switch to a different hdmi cable and see if it makes a difference, i had a similar problem to yours and it was the hdmi cable.

If it is the cable i highly reccomend getting the braided ones , they are only a few quid dearer and are a bit better imo.

It could be an "handshake" issue. Not much can be done about it. The order in which you turn on your tv / bluray and how long you wait can help.
