I have put together a small site that focuses on the clouds of Ireland. Included on the site is an image gallery that will be updated either on a weekly or bi-weekly basis (still haven't decided!! :o) from the incredible amount of photos we get on the Irish Weather Online facebook. The site is very simply designed because as you will see, I am no web designer! :D

Also on the site is a 'cloud atlas' that gives brief descriptions on the main cloud types along with some of their varieties etc. Many of these descriptions are written by this Weather forum's resident cloud gurus Su Campu and Iancar29, so you know that you are in safe hands there regarding quality of content :) My hopes for this site is to build up a fully fledged cloud atlas for Ireland with time and to chart every possible cloud form possible.

Hope you enjoy :) and if you would like to have any of ye're own images included in the weekly gallery just let me know and will include them no bother :)

Ps: Have had a lot of trouble with fonts and formatting with the site the last week that has driven me absolutely bonkers. Most of the problems seem to be fixed by now but you may encounter some oddness at times regarding formatting on articles but hopefully this will be sorted fully over the next couple of days. :)

Point taken :) I just thought as the gallery is quite long that some music would be nice to accompany it. Can set the volume lower though and in any case, it can easily be stopped by anyone by pressing the stop or pause button :) (music player directly below gallery)

maybe a clickable icon to enable accompanying music would work .

That remix is actually quite eerie if not menacing.

That makes two of us! Nope you don't have to reg at all, you can just PM me any photos you would like to see up. :)

I know there is an option on the cpanel of the server to set up an email for the site, will try and figure out how to set this up and post the address up on here if I don't botch it up! Might be a handier way to send any photos :)

No problem with that at all :) I managed to set up email account with the site address as well if you or anybody else would like to send in any pics for the galley via that.

    Email: imagegallery@skiesofireland.com

I sent a test email to that address and it seems to work no problem. :)
