    Hey,

I'm an arts student so I have no official connection to the business school. However, access to the lab(bloomberg terminals mainly) would be very useful to me. So, do I have to be a biz student to access it?

I've emailed the school and they didn't respond... If anyone knows, a response would be much appreciated as it's quite important!

    Cheers :)

General rule of thumb with any student accessible room in UCD is that if there is no lecture going on, and you arn't taking the seat of someone who should be there, then there generally is no problem.

I haven't ventured in there myself, might wander in some day.

Once there's no lecture on in there you can go in.

You lovely lovely people... That's 15k worth of equipment free! Is there any way I can find out when lectures are on in there? And do you know if it's open after lecture hours?(i.e. after 6)

    Cheers :)

Went in at 8am a couple of weeks ago and it was open. Was also open from 5-8 last night (we got an email telling us to use it for our course), not sure if this was normal or a once off.

I imagine the request should go through your own school. Contact your programme manager with a detailed request of why you need to use Bloomberg and let them send it to the business school. Contacting them directly is unlikely to yield a satisfactory outcome.
