Question on Penalties

So I've made a stupid mistake. I just been completing a CG1 form for a 2011, I want to obviously complete before 31st October. I've just realised that the CGT should have been paid in December 2011, not October 2012 !

Now the cheque is in the post with the appropriate documentation, but I'm just wondering does anybody know what type of potential penalty / interest I will now incur .

    Thanks in advance.

Penalty is imposed for filing a return late so if you are not late you should be ok. Interest may be charged when tax is not paid on time approx 10% pa

Interest would be 0.0219% per day.
