New Wheelset, HELP?

Im thinking of getting a new set of wheels for my road bike, Ideally I would like a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elites but I'm afraid they are a little out of my price range (unless any of you lads here are selling a good second hand pair?).

    I have found these online:
    http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k632/a53813/wh-rs80-a-c24.html

and it seems to be a pretty good price so I'm just wondering if anyone on here could recommend them or advise me against them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Ciaran

You can't really go wrong with these, Shimano make great wheels. They are discounted now because Shimano have a new line of wheels coming out. probably not the lightest in the world but they will roll well and be durable.

Tyres are also important, so leave some money for some conti 4000S or attack/force

Thanks for the reply, so you would say that these compare well with the Ksyrium Elites then?

Yes they have a good reputation. Few Boards members have them so they may post later. Hubs are good and that is a good price for those wheels. Personal question! What weight are you?

I am 77kg, does that make any difference?

Sorry, heavier riders might be better off with something like these Fulcrum 3's. These Zondas have good reputation and a great price for 2013 model. At your weight any wheel should be fine :) Decisions decisions! GLW purchase
