Same as everywhere else. Full of hipsters and very little job prospects

Ignore the previous guy, arts in Nuim is a pretty good course you need to be set on what you want to do with your degree though if you are looking to go straight into the working world after it.

Do you have any particular subjects on your mind?

There is a lot of scope in Arts in Maynooth, and a variety of subjects you can do, and indeed specific BA degree programmes. You can even do some of the science faculty subjects.
Just make sure they have subjects you want to do, I think there is some settling in time before you have to select the subjects .
Most of my friends who got Arts degrees in maynooth ended up as teachers, some coming back to do a Dip a few years later after being out in the commercial world.

Hmm, did law through arts myself. Job prospects ain't great but frankly that's everywhere. most people I know are doing masters. Thing is, pick what you love doing and then try and plan for the future while doing it.
