    Hey lads,

I'm mad keen to buy the new shape l200 but not so keen on paying over a thousand euro in road tax. I do not have a vat number,my own business or three employee's to obtain commercial tax that way. After doing some research i came across a section stating that if i took the rear seats out i can qualify this way to tax it as a commercial. Has anybody here gone through this or whats your view on it?thanks

Taking the seats out won't make any difference to you getting commercial tax if you don't have the necessary proof of business use. It would stay as crew cab anyway unless you got it officially reclassified and I'm not sure can for a post 2010 vehicle, may as well have an ordinary single cab.
