BMW sat nav issue

    Hi lads, I bought a 320d with professional nav recently and I'm having a slight issue with my navigation.

    The nav disc will run fine after inserting it for about 2mins and then the screen reads, disc error! Please check disc.

    Disc seems good with no scratches and if I take the disc out and put it in again it will run fine for 2mins and then same thing again.

    Anybody out there be able to shed some light please?

    Is the disc the original or a copy? I've heard of copied discs having issues though in saying that mine is a copy and I've had no problems so far with it in over a year.

    It's an original disc. I'm going to get a 2012 disc and maybe put a DVD cleaner into the drive too and see does it make a difference. Fingers crossed

    If you return your old disc to the dealer they will refund you some of the cost towards the new one! Sounds like a dodgey disc anyway!

    Even if it's an 08 disc? Ive a new (copied) disc ordered so I'll see what happens
