    how many grams of chlorine dioxide are needed to have 0.250 mol? i dont understand why the question does'nt give a volume in litres?? Also i dont know how to do it? i know its in the wrong place but there is no chemistry thread.

    You don't need the volume, just calculate the atomic mass of ClO2 and multiple it by the mols given to get the grams.
    It's just the revise of calculating the mols from the weight

    Just assume it's solidified. Then your answer should be just Molar Mass * Molarity.
