whats the story about the tales of woe and misery on TV and radio these days? is it related to our current economic situation and designed to feel us more miserable or better because there are others who are worse off than ourselves?

Joe duffy is a gas man for it. he spoke about suicide every day last week. this week was devoted to incurable illnesses.

if you want to get on Brendan o Connor or Tubs you do not need to be famous, you need a tale of woe.even the factor has turned out to be a teary affair.

anyone got a hard luck story out there I could borrow to launch my career?

does it? lucy spragan and her granny dying -cue the tears. she already sang, albeit a good one, a song of a couple in love and their hardships, but was shiite last night. will the people buy it?
admittedly JD has made a career out of the sufferings of his listeners and how awful it does be when the hoorted do be hoorting.

eat your dinner. think of the starving in africa.

Don't get me started on Lucy bloody Straggan. I thought she was taking the p*ss out of herself taking the p*ss over the dead granny. She whored the dead granny to get the sympathy vote, saying that her granddad said that her grannies last smile was watching her sing, she's that desperate to win and she has no talent. Then she goes on to perform 'gold digger', she has no shame, I hope the irony of her song choice wasn't lost on the public.
