    Hi,

I switched on my laptop this morning to find that it won't connect to my broadband. My phone is still connecting fine the broadband.
The laptop was connecting last night, watched a show on channel4.com.
When I try to connect, this message appears: "Problem applying Profile!"
Can anyone please help me with this?

TRY knock off wifi, reboot, press f8 ,load windows safe mode with networking, plug in ethernet cable, are u getting net acess,

Are u using wifi or ethernet.
    switch on wifi button,
    reboot pc
see control panel networking ,click troubleshoot network,,adaptor wifi 1,or ethernet adaptor,
    .ok,takes 5mins.click enable wifi adaptor,turn on wifi,or ethernet,
    Whichever 1 you use,
wifi unit could be disabled.it happens to me,
i get message cannot load profile too.

Ijust re enable wifi adaptor 1.IN network, options, troubleshooting.diagnose, adaptor wifi,or ethernet lan,
    i m using windows 7.

worst case u could use windows restore ,to go back before update,
backup your user data, made after restore point, u lose everything,mp3s,pics saved after restore point,
    eg restore point ,june 14th,
    try safe mode,or troubleshooting 1st.
