Backpacker/Roadtrip

    Hi all,

    I've been here in Australia since January, it's been all work no play since I arrived so i'm looking to do a backpacking trip or roadtrip. The friends I was living with all went home last week so its time to start a new chapter here for me.

    I've had a look around the internet at companies that offer backpacker trips but i'm wondering has anyone here on boards got any experience with any companies ? I've heard of people buying a greyhound bus pass and just arranging things as they go. Anyone to reccomend or stay away from.

    It's my first time doing any sort of backpacking trip so i'm totally new to it :o

    Any help appreciated !
