Can anything be done about this?

Hiya, just wondering if I were to make a complaint to DB about the following, would anything be done?

I was on a bus today, of which I have the time and license plate number. An elderly lady pressed the bell to get the bus to stop, with plenty of time, the 'stopping' sign lit up. The bus driver completely ignored this, and continued driving past the stop. She asked him politely why he hadn't let her off, and he told her that she didn't press the buzzer (she did and it was audible!). She said that she did, he then started shouting at her that she didn't and stopped the bus in the middle of the road to let her off, calling her a cúnt as she got off.

If I were to make a complaint about this (the kids I was with did not need to hear this crap, nor did the lady!), would anything be done, since I don't have a name or number for the driver, just the time, stop and license plate number?

Yes, report it. The bus company will know exactly who was driving that particular bus. He shouldnt be working with the public. He obvIously has a major problem.

I don't think it's a case of him having a major problem. I'm hoping it was just him having a bad day and not controlling his temper, because I've been on his bus many times before with no issues.

I hope they will go to the effort of finding out exactly who it is because no matter what mood you're in, you stay friendly while doing a customer service job.

Please report this and quickly. In fact ring the route depot asap tonight to ensure the bus' CCTV tapes are preserved before they become overwritten. Then follow up with email/letter to area manager.

I have to concur with what has been posted already about making a complaint and doing it ASAP. This will allow the company to properly verify your complaint with CCTV if available.

We can all bitch and moan in online forums about this or that when it comes to buses trains and drivers but for something this serious I have learned the thing to do is put your email or biro to work and make it official.

The company WILL take it seriously as long as you are serious enough to make a proper complaint.

I'm definitely going to complain about it, I just wasn't sure if they'd take it seriously or not. I sent an email and I'll be calling them in the morning as it was too late when I posted the thread.

    Thanks for your help, guys!
