 just a FYI....seems as if all the file hosters have a new file delete policy and are deleting links within minutes of them going up, it appears they've got some new software that automatically hunts down links and kills them. What's worrying is the level of accuracy and speed...trying to hide links or change filename etc dosen't work either.

Do you mean downloads of illegal content;). Since megaupload was shut down(FBI used them to make a point) all other file sharing companies have to have strict checks in place(by people reporting as pirtate download). Also film companies, game companies, music companies have people employed to track where the illegal downloading is taking place , and report these to the file sharing comapnies who then take them down.

That's OK since filehosters like Rapidshare are easily held to account but it creates a gap in the market also. Not a gap that can be widely discussed but if true, it would only be a matter of time before a startup based in the back of beyond provides the service Rapidshare et al. have been hockeyed out of.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Television.

This casual discussion of illegal links has got to stop - let me take this time to remind you of this little point in the charter:

Don't ask where you can download/stream TV shows or give any links to them. Infact try to stay away from discussion of downloading altogether.

Discussion or alluding to downloading warrants an infraction!
