    Hello.

Could anyone help with some directions or how to go about getting to Loughcrew from Dublin by bus.

I am hoping to do some drawing for a project on Megalithic stones etc.

I was on buseireann website and they run a bus to oldcastle for around € 20 return.

Does anyone know how far Loughcrew is from there walking?

Also where I could get a key for access to the different cairns?

    Thanks for any help offered.

Bus Éireann route 109 + 187 seem to be the most sensible. Bringing a folding bike might be an option or else get a taxi.

The site is several km from Oldcastle, but is itself several km long.

I don't know who has the keys. :D These guys might know who to ask: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=330
