LATEST INDIAN PHONE SCAM - BEWARE!!

Like others here I've had numerous calls in the past from those bogus 'tech support / windows virus' Indian scammers, never fell for it luckily, but I understand they are crafty...

They've now jumped on the bank Payment Protection Insurance overcharging story that broke this week - just had a call from another one of these crooks, said he was from company called 'AAC', saying he could arrange refund of €3000 from my 'recent bank loan with B Of I.' (non existent of course).

It was so obvious from the start (poor English, bad echoey phone line etc), so I proceeded to grill him, kept asking for his name & number & company address, eventually he interrupted and told me to 'F**k off' !!!

People, please beware, spread the word, warn others, especially those possibly more vulnerable.

    Anyone else experienced this one?
