we have a big kitchen in a new build and have gotten some local quotes - wondering if anyone went to Northern Ireland and if so, was the saving worth it? Thanks

We live in Dundalk and got a number of quotes both sides of the border. In every case the quote north of the border was more expensive - in some cases before you even convert the currency.

    That was our experience anyways.

We got quoted on hand made/hand painted solid wood kitchen with pine carcass, double belfast sink, marble worktops and solid walnut breakfast bar. The cost of the stone and walnut worktops in particular seemed more expensive up North.
