As the rogue Fringe team continues to fight off the oppressive Observers’ invasion, unforeseen events lead them into a forest where they encounter a strange subculture of people devoted to recording human history in “The Recordist”.

More Fringe tonight, started off well strong so hopefully it continues that way.

It was OK, a little flat. Walter entertained as always.

Was left a little underwhelmed after watching it. Just another 3 or 6 tapes to find....or is it 7...

good improvement on last weeks, walter must have been disgusted he couldnt get high:D

i do hope they move this device assembly along, but somehow i can see it taking up the next 7 episodes and then it will move into the 3 part series finale,

Anybody else think of Iron Man when Walter was building the suit in the welding goggles? :)

A bit lame this week. I really want the tapes got & sorted quicker.

Weak episode alright. When you look at the first two episodes in the context of where the characters + plot are at the start and end of each, you see great strides on both fronts. In this episode we have gained.... purple crystals. Pure filler episode and given the short order of episodes for the final season, that is very disappointing. I really hope we don't have a series of "find tape that tells the team to go to location X to find object Y with obstacle Z standing in their way". Particularly if the "obstacle" is some lame, not really ever explained, fungal growth. More I think about that episode, the more disappointed I am.

It's also starting to wear thin with me that the all powerful, time/space jumping Observers can't get to the team much quicker. Why do they insist on using the Loyalist humans.... oh and as for the mole in the Loyalists, aren't the Observers able to read minds?

    Phew, finally caught up!

Definitely a better episode than last week IMO.

Still can't help but see a mini-Gwyneth Paltrow when I look at Henrietta.

Thought it was an okay episode though it was pretty obvious from the moment they realised the mine was dangerous that someone was going to be sacrificed (to be fair I though Walter might take a crack at it). Some nice character moments too.

On the downside, only eight episodes left :(

Walter's sunglasses was probably the best thing about this episode. Nothing much really happened. Would be ok in a 22/24 episode season but not a 13 episode one. Hopefully the tapes are all found during the next two at the most.

Really boring eps last night. The whole tapes thing is just filler.
Only 9 left to go, hope to hell they pick it up next eps.
