Bluetooth Headphones not Working Dell

I have a pair of Sennheiser MX450-X headphones which I listen to music with on my laptop though cable but I have to use a different headset for Skype calls. The bluetooth feature works fine with my iPhone so I thought it would be easy to connect it with my Dell Vostro 3700.

I tried to pair it with the laptop. Messed around with the usual Bluetooth settings. Eventually I emailed Sennheiser to see if I was missing anything. Amazingly the guy actually called me and stepped through what I had been doing tried to pair it and even he could not help. He suggested a driver update for the Dell but the Dell site was pants and the driver they had was for Vista.

My question is - has anyone out there actually successfully paired earphones with a Dell Vostro. Is there an alternative driver? The Dell driver is Broadcom and when I went to their site the suggested driver also wouldn't even install.

It kind of annoys me as sometimes I am listening to music with these (as the sound is great) and I get a Skype call and I nearly strangle myself disconnecting and connecting my piece of crap Skype headset

The "Dell site" is actually one of the best support pages.

Pick your OS and go to the Network section, you're looking for the Dell Driver which applies to: ASSY,CRD,NTWK,BLTH,365,DT,2 | Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module

If you're using XP, you'll also find a Dell Application to manage your BT connections.
