Can a house that has been divided up into bedsits be put back into a family home ? Is there planning required for this ? What would the likely cost be say for an existing dewelling of 1300sq foot. Dublin Area

Reinstating a single unit from a house divided into doesnt require planning. However beware it cant then be reconverted.

Estimating the cost of doing the work is impossible simply based on area.

It may not be relevant and be obvious, the house cannot be converted back into bedsits without planning consent. The "pre- 63" status on the the building of been a multi- unit is then gone.
