If you are watching Saorview in the Northeast from the Clermont Carn transmitter (near Dundalk) you should be aware of a frequency change to the service from October 24th. This is also the day the analogue versions of RTE etc close down.

The changes detailed below means you should retune your Saorview TV or set top box between the dates below. If you don't retune before 7 November you will lose your reception of Saorview.
Between the 24th of October and the 7th November SAORVIEW will be transmitted on two separate UHF channels (52 & 53) from Clermont Carn.

The SAORVIEW service will continue to be transmitted, on a temporary basis for 14 days, on its current temporary channel (53).

From 13:00 on the 24th of October the SAORVIEW service will start to transmit on its new, and final, channel (52).

On the 7th of November the SAORVIEW service will cease transmitting on temporary channel 53.
