I have lots of flighting pigeon on my permission but was wondering if it was possible to attract them in to shooting range with some decoys and a bouncer. The magnet is no go as its too expensive and I dont have the shed to make one.

What you think ? or would I just be wasting my time

So what do you think we all did before the magnets came along ?

Of course some deeks and bouncers will work. The magnet on occasion,I think, puts pigeon off.

Try and knock a few and then prop them up with sticks..
Also plastic deeks are cheap enough..I used to leave my deeks on my old shooting ground.Hidden away in a ditch hanndy just in case there was a flight happening whilst out shooting..

I think its worth mentioning they have to be interested in feeding. Flighting pigeons are usually going from one place to another or returning to roost.... they have to be hungry to decoy!

Great points made. I'll have a go and see what happens. Thanks again
