Internal cable routing

I'm about to begin a Winter build on a frame that has internal routing of both mech cables along with the rear brake cable. I've never done this before, and after having a good look on the web and youtube, apparently it's every bike mechanics worst nightmare. Are there any must do's or must not do's during the process.

Any tips would be great before I start to avoid me losing the will to live.

I did it recently on a Trek 5.2, nothing too taxing about it to be honest, but then again I have worked in industrial maintenance for 25 years and have been messing with bikes since I was 4 or 5. Honestly though, its fairly straight forward. If in doubt have a look at a similar frame.

I have the gore sealed cabling on the race bike and it works very well. It's fully sealed so you just feed the cables through end to end. My plan was to get a set for the winter bike.
