New 5k race in Phoenix Park, being organised by the AAI.
Seems to be aimed at Fit4Life runners?
This event, organised by Athletics Ireland in association with mycharity.ie, will have a special remembrance theme of family or friends who have passed on, or who are currently struggling with illness or other life challenges.

Not a bad post marathon run this morning. Small bit of confusion at the start around the waves but nothing serious. Pretty sure I got my wife's number and just waiting for the result to see if she got mine or some randomer's.

Loved this run this morning! Very cold but very sunny. There was a good crowd out for it and they had a massive whiteboard where you could write the name of the person you were running the race in remembrance of.
Looonnnnngggg queue for toilets (think this delayed the start slightly), and then everyone set off in three separate waves. I started at the back of wave 2 (had been in the middle of wave 3 with my walking sister, and ended up passing people for most of the race. Lots of families, lots of fit for life groups, and a few speedy runners. Good fast course, and new 5k PB for me in 25.55 (not amazing but I'm delighted!). Would recommend it for next year!
