Beatles 8 track cassettes

    Hi there,
    some time ago my father -in -law gave me a whole bunch of 8 track cassettes. I just piled them into a box and put them into the garage and forgot about them.
    Earlier this evening I was looking for something out there and found that there were 7 Beatles cassettes amongst the pile:
    Abbey Road
    With the Beatles
    Hey Jude
    Revolver
    Sgt. Peppers
    Red Album
    and a Beatles compilation.

    Are these worth anything?

    Some are in poor condition and some are in good condition in their original outer cases.

    Technical correction in case you search elsewhere, 8-track tapes were known as cartridges, not cassettes.

    Unlikely to be worth much.

    People don't have machines to play them anymore by and large, there's still a heap of turntable eqip. knocking about.

    Vinyl and the sleeve cover art are where its at for collectors I believe. Nice to frame even if you don't play them.

    Hi folks, thanks for your input.
    Just said I'd ask and see as they're more of an oddity than anything else.
    By the way, I do have a Lloytron 8-Track stereo with turntable and radio.
    Cool looking machine in fairness.
