Mismatched tyres

Hey guys quick question. I've had a spot of bother with my tyres over the last week or so and the end result is that I need 2 new ones. And seen as how they are set of Acceleras, I've decided to change all four. Until I get paid I've stuck on 2 spares that I had in the garage.
Now for the question bit. Three of them are 205/55 16's and one is a 225/50 16. Will this cause a major issue when driving? It wont be doing much km's in the until I can get the new set.

What car you got? Won't affect your driving (at low speeds) to much but it'll knacker your diff over time.

Edit: Is it FWD or RWD or 4WD. If it were me I'd try source a part worn in the correct size. Depends on what you mean by not much km's though.

How much it effects the driving will depend as much on the tyre brands and remaining thread as much as the size but if its only for a short time then it will be safer then driving on bald tyres.

It will only effect your diff if the odd tyres are on the driven axle and you have a limited slip differential.

Its a CLK230, rear wheel drive. I'd say I'll only be putting about 80Km on it till I can get the new rubber.

Stick the narrow one on the front. It will have the same profile as the others anyway.
