Where to go to get a house valued?

    Hi,
    Not sure is this is in the right area or not and I think a bit of a stupid question to boot but where do you go to get a house valued? Is it an auctioneers??

    Sorry, for a family home. For the people who own it, just to know how much the house and property is worth. What its market value is? Possibly for buying someone out or maybe selling ? (Hope that clarifies a bit!)
