Blown fuse on a Fender Twin Reverb?

My friend asked to play my 1979 Fender Silverface a while back and I foolishly told him to flick the switch furthest to the right -which I later realised was the voltage selector- and when I turned on the amp for him (which was presumably set to the wrong voltage) the electrics in the room went and I blew the fuse in the back of the amp. To cut a long story short, I bought a replacement fuse yesterday and substituted it into my amp but there's nary a jolt from the amp when I turn it on. I'm not very clued in when it comes to electronics so I'm baffled as to what could be the problem. Could I have also blown the fuse in the plug or could there be something a bit more serious at play here?

You've probably blown more than the fuse. Get thee to Aladin's Amps!

I heard Aladdin's wasn't doing repairs anymore, only "vintage restoration". Though I suppose this might count as the latter!

Or you blew an internal fuse. Get thee to a tech. Bring less cash.

Id be surprised if it was anything major. The fuse is at the start of the circuit so that it cuts out before anything else gets hit.

That's it down the bottom right.
Try changing the fuse in the plug maybe. Otherwise I'd ring a tech as others have suggested

Unless someone puts tinfoil in it.

True, only the blackface twins have tinfoil deflectors. Should have got a blackface OP.
