Megane mkII 1.5dci wont start

Hi all, so my Megane decided to die. On the m4 it suddenly lost power and cut out. I got it started and it ran (roughly) for another mile. Cut out again and would not start. Had to get it towed 110miles home to Sligo to fix it.

It turns over but will not start, "injection fault" appears on screen.

I have checked all fuses and wiring integrity and found no issues.

Have swapped cam and crank sensors to no avail.

Can i assume that it is not a pump/injector problem since it was running perfectly beforehand and not smoking etc?

Is there a way of testing if injectors are getting signal? Is it a 12v pulse?

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers in advance!
