Graduation call out order

    Hi all,

    I'm graduating in a few weeks and just wondering if someone could tell me, in what order are people called out when getting conferred. Is it alphabetically, or is it per grade, so those with firsts, then 2.1 the 2.2 etc....?

    It depends on your college I think. I know mine did it by grade and then by alphabetical order within each grade.

    Depends on the university. Best to ask in the individual college forum.

    In U.C.D. it was alphabetical order. At my graduation there was a girl going up who got called a boy's name and it wasn't corrected.
