Park for a few minutes in Dublin Airport

    Hi,

I need to drop in to T2 in Dublin airport for a few minutes later in the week, hopefully no more than ten minutes.

I am wondering where best to park? the short term carpark looks like it charges a minimum of one days rate if I look online. Has anyone tried to stay in the short term carpark for an hour or two? do they charge for a full day?

Any alternatives, looks like I will have to go to long term carpark :(

    Thanks

You can pay by the hour in the short-term car park (the one at T1 anyway - which is only a 2 minute walk away), but you'll be paying for a full hour. About €3 I think.

Yep. The short term carp park charges by the hour. The fully daily rate only applies if you lose your ticket, which is where you may be getting mixed up info on being charged the full daily rate. Make sure that you pay at the payment station before you return to your car, as there are no cashiers at the exit.

It's three euro minimum in T2 short term, well worth it imo, as short a distance from car park to arrivals hall as your likely to get in any major airport.
