Activity for a Stag - Killarney

    Hi all,

I hope someone can help me. I've been badly let down by the Action Adventure Centre in Killarney with regard to an activity for a stag weekend in two weeks. They won't be re-opened having had to move premises even though I had been told they would be. Really annoyed about it!

Where that leaves me is that I've got a group of 17 guys heading to Killarney on Friday November 2nd and Saturday November 3rd and no activity organised for the Saturday. Can any of you give me some advice on what else I could try?

I'd appreciate any suggestions as I'd like to get something tied down as soon as possible!

    Thanks a million,
    NKay.

Are you tied down to Kilarney? There's go-karting in Castleisland and Paintballing in Tralee but killarney has very little in terms for stags.

Yeah we've accommodation booked there. It was all organised like until the activity fell through but I did find that there wasn't a whole lot of choice in terms of activities when I was originally looking into it. Was hoping local knowledge might dig something up!

Could get a bus to Kenmare for the activities and then bus back to Killarney, maybe stop in Kenmare for a few on the way. Would be good.

Serious thanks to jtown actually. We're going to be going to the Eclipse Centre in Kenmare on Saturday. Going to be doing an assault course etc. Going to be having a barbecue there too as the owner previously worked in catering. Should be good fun.

With all that in mind, are there any spots we should visit? Going to be out Friday and Saturday night.

The Grand is my fave spot in Killarney, the pub usually has a live band and the club would have a better selection of music than the other clubs around. Always great atmosphere and never any trouble. Courtneys is pretty cool too, got a good selection of europeans beers.

So is Courtneys just a bar yeah?

The Grand is a hotel is it? But has a few different parts to it?

What would those places be like on the Friday and Saturday?

Any pubs that would have a pool table or two around?

The grand hotel is perfect for starting off and finishing your night's drinking, while going to scruffy's and mc Sorleys in between and maybe the failte if it has a good crowd there!!!! "Mustangs is for the children"
