When you say you "feel a click" do you mean the pedal seems to slap the sole of your shoe? If so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Many clutch pedals have what I call an "over-centre, two way spring". This spring pushes the pedal up to its rest position, but when you press the pedal about half-way down it flips over and assists you to press it down the full way. Sometimes it becomes a little "notchy" and feels peculiar in use. Lubrication might help but it's awkward to do without getting grease everywhere.
